88% of IT managers expect culture to be the biggest obstacle to successful remote collaboration

Linschoten, 25 June 2012 – The overwhelming majority of CIOs and IT managers (88 percent) think about culture as the biggest obstacle to the successful use of collaborative technology within organizations. Culture is followed by the design of procedures and the security, both at substantial distance with 22 percent. These are the results of a research among CIOs and IT managers by Talk & Vision, specialist in the field of video communications and managed video services, in cooperation with Nyenrode Business University.

Over 50 percent of organizations do not have a policy for remote collaboration

Linschoten, 12 June 2012 – The majority of Dutch organizations acknowledge the importance of proper remote collaboration and stimulate the use of collaboration technologies. Nevertheless, over half (53 per cent) of these organizations have no policy with regard to this subject. These are the results of a study among CIOs and IT managers by Talk & Vision, specialist in video communications and managed video services, in cooperation with Nyenrode Business University.
